Description
The Dräger Pac 6500 is a next-generation single-gas detection and warning device designed for high safety and reliability. It features a built-in datalogger, exposure alarms (STEL/TWA), and a long-life battery that supports up to 2 years of continuous operation (1 year for O₂ versions).
For oxygen monitoring, the device measures from 0–25 vol% with a resolution of 0.1 vol%, ensuring accurate detection of hazardous conditions. It reliably detects gases such as carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), sulfur dioxide (SO₂), and oxygen depletion with fast response times due to advanced sensors.
The device supports a wide measurement range, including CO detection from 1–1,999 ppm and H₂S from 0.4–100 ppm. A clear D-Light indicator shows test status and readiness for use, while color-coded sensors reduce the risk of operator error.
Built for harsh environments, the Pac 6500 operates in temperatures from -40 °C to 55 °C and pressures between 700–1,300 mbar. Its shock-resistant, chemical-proof housing meets IP68 protection standards, and a membrane filter protects the sensor from dust and liquids for dependable performance in demanding conditions.
