Our DCP (Dry Chemical Powder) fire extinguishers, available in 9kg is designed to tackle a wide range of fire types. These versatile extinguishers are effective on Class A fires (solid materials like wood and paper), Class B fires (flammable liquids), and Class C fires (flammable gases).
They are ideal for environments with multiple fire risks, although they are not suitable for fires involving flammable metals such as magnesium or sodium.
The dry powder is electrically non-conductive, making it safe for use on electrical equipment, and is not harmful to humans or animals. It consists of a free-flowing blend of ammonium phosphate and sulphate, enhanced with additives for improved performance and storage stability.
